I watched TAtBILB with my mother to show her Netflix's Chinese subs functionality after she nay'd Salt Acid Fat Heat and Flavors of Youth, and yeah, I think you've pretty much hit most of my reactions (although I think I have lower tolerance for het romance, probably exacerbated by less interest for mundane romance in general).
