Haha, that's so cute! Did she think the subs were good? I haven't tried Netflix's subs in any other languages.

I thought it was overall a fun movie, but I do think my enjoyment was increased by being with my friends from high school while I was watching it and poking fun at it together. Our high school did have popular kids, but they were mostly popular just because they were nice? There were some pockets of bullying, but no high school movie has really reflected my experience lol.
